Gold Rush

 

 

  Prelude   

  

Dust mixes with oil, and blue and red appear upon the black.  The artist pauses.  Oil and dust mix again, and there is yellow too.  The painting is now complete, for the colors may combine to form the purples, the oranges, and the greens, and the forms of a new frontier.
